#MENU Ep7

Christian Seeney introduced the news headlines this week, you probably know him, he’s kind of a big deal around here. Starting off with an on screen debut from Andy Keyser, the news was filmed live on location at The Castle, Edge Hill, where Andy interviewed Mayday’s Hospitality & Catering Team Expert, Mark Higgs. Andy is congratulating Mark on winning the British Institute of Inn Keeping Licensee of the Year Award 2017. Mark picked up his gong in front of a packed audience at the BII Summer event at the HAC in the City of London on the 13th of June, attended by the brightest and best from the industry. The BII is a membership organisation for individuals working in the licensed retail sector, with over 9,000 individual members running premises across the UK. This year’s event saw over 800 of the top licensees and pub operators in the UK flock to London for a day of networking, entertaining, celebration and fun. Mark highlighted his involvement and networking with Mayday as a key influence in the judges decision. Read the full article about Mayday’s King of the Castle here.. BII-LOYA-2017.
