Mayday Employment recently donated office furniture to one of our partner charities, Katharine House Hospice. This is a fantastic charity that holds a special place in our hearts. Katharine House provides specialist palliative care for adults with life limiting conditions across North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire & South Warwickshire. Whilst they do care for people at end of life, they also offer respite care and support for symptom management and pain relief. But their care is not just about managing the physical symptoms of disease. They know that people need emotional and spiritual support too so their professionals are always available to help. They can also help people to access the practical support they need too. Care is offered throughout the local community. Whilst many of their patients come into the hospice, they care for many more in their own homes, care homes or in the hospital.

In total we raised £706.42 from the sale of our furniture with a further £176.61 being made available to the charity as a Gift Aid Donor. We are proud to partner such a fantastic charity. Mayday is dedicated to supporting local charities and we are also a proud partner of Banbury Young Homelessness Project. Our objective is to raise the awareness of two fantastic charities through our fundraising.
