Warehouse Operative with Bendi FLT License (131/01)

Our partner based in Banbury, Oxfordshire is looking to add a warehouse operative to their team. Our partner was established in 1993 and have gone on to work with some large organisations. They began in 1993 with a basic range of herbs and spices supplying the health food, independent and delicatessen trade. Our partners reputation has seen them being approached by a number of big brands and organisations over recent years to develop and sell products under their brands.

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is ensure all stock movements are documented and orders are dispatched on time. You will be responsible for the handling of finished produce, factored goods, packaging and raw materials.

Additional information

  • You will be required to work 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm, with occasional 10pm – 6am. Shifts will rotate to meet business requirements and rotate weekly
  • Working days are Monday to Friday
  • You will report to the warehouse team leader


  • A valid bendi fork lift truck license is essential

Duties include (but not limited to)

  • Picking and packing products ready for delivery
  • Prioritising dispatching orders in line with instruction
  • Ensure paperwork is completed and filed correctly
  • Conducting checks to ensure stock levels are correct
  • Moving goods between locations using a Bendi FLT and Tow Tractor
  • Unloading deliveries, updating records on the computer and process related paperwork
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times
  • Adhere to the Food Safety standards in all areas
  • Dispatch samples and process associated paperwork
  • Check all material handling equipment prior to your shift
  • Ensure organic produce and allergens are segregated correctly
  • Ensure all food items are covered/boxed in line with GMP standards

You will have

  • Had manual handling training
  • Experience of inbound/outbound logistics processes
  • Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Warehouse Practice (GWP)
  • Experience of using MRP
  • Experience of using a warehouse management system
